Competition Time

Yes!!
Its that time again, my first competition of the "Year" Yippy!!  I will be competing a National competition the 2012 ISI Conference Championships at my home rink, RDV Sportsplex Ice Den.

I will be competing at Open Silver (my first time) - my moves and technical needs work, although I am working hard but for the past couple of weeks I was banned from the rink for health reasons. Being out for so long, will take some time to recoup. Yesterday!! I got the OKAY to skate!!! Awesomeness!!! I have to take it easy, slowly but surely. I will take it one day at a time, one jump, one spin at a time, there is no rush.

I have 1/2 of my technical program completed, this Thursday, will work on the final 1/2 as well as my 16 dance step sequence.  Have to work on combination jumps, (no axels yet) and my spins.  Hopefully, my coach will work on my Artistic program next week.  My goal is to get all my programs done by end of March, so then I can focus on the last two months on perfecting my programs.

My favorite part of the competition is the skating dresses, of course can't have a wonderful program without fantastic dress!! I already designed it, just have to get the fabric and start the sewing madness!!  This is the best part of the whole competition thing, is the sewing, the bling and the make-up!!  I will post the dresses as soon as I put it together.

    Yeah!!! Glad you're back on the ice. Looking forward to seeing the new dress too. The others look lovely but is there any way you can post a bigger picture? All that lovely detail on your spanish dress!

    Thanks a milliion Lori!!! Its true!! all my skating dresses have lots of detail, beads and stones etc. I will sure post them in a large format. You think I should add it this post? You can view my skating dresses in my facebook page under "Skating" I think I will post a new one just on skating dresses :)
